Biography

Megan should once again be one of the Cru’s top offensive threats this season. She is making the move to first base this season and should step right into a starting role. Megan led the Cru in batting average, home runs and RBI last season at .372 with 10 homers and 24 RBI. She earned First Team All-West Division honors and also ranked among the conference leaders in home runs and batting average. Megan started all 43 games as a designated player. She was walked in seven consecutive plate appearances in a doubleheader against Texas Lutheran and also had five multiple RBI games during the season. Megan missed the final 16 games of her sophomore season with an injury, but she still batted .313 with a home run and eight RBI. She was a Second Team All-West Division selection. Megan was an NFCA Third Team All-American, First Team All-Region selection and earned First Team ASC All-West Division honors as a freshman. She also blasted a pair of homers in the NCAA Regional Tournament. Megan was an All-District and All-Brazos Valley softball player at A&M Consolidated High School. She is a nursing major at UMHB. Megan is the daughter of Janie and Bill Bohne.
