2024: Honorable Mention All-ASC … Academic All-ASC … started in 26 games … totaled 14 hits on 51 at bats with 14 runs scored … added four RBI … recorded 57 putouts.

Shorey is studying physical therapy at UMHB. She was an all-district softball player at Hebron High School, where she also earned Offensive Player of the Year and helped her team to a district championship. Shorey was also an NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete and a three-time academic all-district selection. She also participated in Student Council, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Life. She is the daughter of Hiep and Shelly Nguyen.
