Biography

2024: Second Team All-ASC … Academic All-ASC … batted .357 with 40 hits on the season … totaled 11 RBI with 28 runs scored … added three extra-base slams … stole 23 bases … recorded 92 putouts with three assists as an outfielder.

2023: Honorable Mention All-ASC …  Academic All-ASC selection … played in 38 games with four starts … hit .455 with five hits … scored 13 runs … added 18 putouts.

 Taylor is a nursing major at UMHB. She was a four-year letter winner in both basketball and softball at Danbury High School. Taylor was a two-time all-district and two-time all-county selection in softball. She also earned the Fighting Heart Award and Female Athlete of the Year. Taylor also earned basketball Newcomer of the Year and three all-district awards. She was also a four-time academic all-district selection and participated in National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa, theater, HOSA and Youth Alive. Taylor was also a class officer and recipient of multiple independent academic honors. She is the daughter of Chris and Melissa Henken.
