Vic is a physical education and coaching student at UMHB. She attended Lake Belton High School. where she was a member of the softball, basketball, powerlifting and track and field teams, earning eight total varsity letters. As a softball player, she was awarded catcher of the year twice, second team all-district, all-district honorable mention and helped her team to a state semifinals finish. She was also a two-time regional qualifier in powerlifting with one state qualification. Vic was named second team all-district in track and field. Academically, she was a five-time academic all-district and all-state selection, earning a finalist finish for the 2024 Congressman John R. Carter TX 31 CTE High School award. Vic was a member of the Texas Association of Future Educators and voted prom queen and “Most School Spirit” in her graduating class. She is the daughter of Vernon and Crystal Shimabukuro.
