Biography

LaKesha played well in limited opportunities as a reserve guard last season. She will have a chance to play her way into a larger role this season. 2009-10: LaKesha played in five games as a reserve guard. She averaged 1.2 points and 0.8 rebounds per game and added one assist and two steals. LaKesha scored a season-high three points against Schreiner and grabbed a pair of rebounds against Concordia Texas. High School: LaKesha was an All-District basketball player at Chilton High School. She also lettered in cross-country, volleyball and track for the Pirates. Personal: LaKesha is the daughter of LaHoma and Don Taylor. She was born June 30, 1991 and is majoring in education at UMHB.
