Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Cruz is a veterinary student at UMHB. She participated in cross country, track and field and softball at Rogers High School. Cruz was a three-time regional qualifier and four-time state qualifier in cross country, also earning a pair of all-state honors. She was also an area and regional qualifier in track and a two-time all-district selection in softball. Cruz was also a five time academic all-district selection and member of National Honor Society. She opened her college career at Jacksonville College, where she also participated in Phi Theta Kappa, Webb Society, Student Life and Choir. Cruz is the goddaughter of John and Sylvia Torrez.
