Avery is a marketing major at UMHB. She participated in golf and cheerleading at Fort Worth Christian School, where she was a TAPPS State Champion, State Runner-Up and Fourth Place Individual. Avery was also named DFW Private School Athlete of the Year. Academically, Avery earned all-state honors in 2020 and 2021. She also participated in Chess Club and National Honor Society. Avery is the daughter of Jerome and Amy Hill.
