Biography
2013-14: Stroke average of 79.33 in the fall … captured fifth career individual victory at Lady Bulldog Fall Classic … tied low-score school record (70) … finished in the top-15 in all four fall tournaments.
2012-13: Set record for lowest scoring average in school history with 78.4 … captured back-to-back tournament titles in the Golfweek Preview and Alamo City Classic ... totaled three individual titles … notched four top-three finishes and six top-10 finishes … set the low 36-hole school and conference record by shooting rounds of 70-73 at Alamo City Classic … broke 54-hole school record at Golfweek Preview (74-75-76=225) … became second women’s golfer in conference history to win back-to-back individual titles at the ASC Conference Championship … set a school-record 72-hole score by posting a 79-75-74-73 at the 2013 NCAA National Championships, helping the Cru win the school’s first Division III National Championship … finished the season ranked 11th individually.
2011-12: Set record for lowest scoring average in school history with 80.6 … notched a second-place finish at the Schreiner Fall Classic (81-78) … lowest competitive round of 76 at Lady Bulldog Fall Classic … Had five top-10 finishes … captured the individual title at the 2012 ASC Conference Championship … Finished tied for 46th in the 2012 NCAA National Championship.
Taylor is studying nursing at UMHB. She is a two-time First Team All-Conference honoree, two-time All-West Region honoree and was named Second Team All-American last season. Taylor was also the 2012 American Southwest Conference Player of the Year. She is a native of Salado, Texas (Salado H.S.).
