Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Stephanie is studying mathematics at UMHB. She was an all-district and academic all-state basketball player at Copperas Cove High School. Stephanie also competed in cross country and track. She is the daughter of Russel and Jennifer Cochran.

Stephanie chose UMHB because she felt it has a wonderful Christian environment. She hopes to become a math teacher and high school coach after graduation. Most people don’t know that Stephanie used to race BMX bikes. She enjoys hanging out with friends and reading her bible when she’s not playing basketball. Stephanie’s favorite movie is the Blindside and her favorite food is hamburgers. She credits her parents as having the biggest influence on her as a person an athlete. Stephanie also credited her high school trainer Ashleigh Adams for not letting her give up after two injuries in high school.
