Kaydi Brechler joined the Cru as an assistant coach in September 2026.
Brechler, a native of El Paso, joins UMHB's coaching staff after spending last season as a volunteer assistant. She was part of a staff that helped the Cru to its fourth consecutive National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association Division III Tournament Championship last season with two events qualifying for NCATA National Championship Event Finals.
As a student-athlete at UMHB, Brechler was named NCATA Division III Most Outstanding Athlete of the Year and NCATA All-America Team. She was also awarded NCATA Division III All-Tournament Team and UMHB Acrobatics and Tumbling Most Valuable Player during her career, helping the Cru to a trio of Division III Tournament Championships and two appearances at the NCATA National Championships.
Brechler also has coaching experience with Westwood Gymnastics in Katy and Zero Gravity Athletics in Waco. At Zero Gravity, Brechler guided her team to a level two national championship.
