Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Matt Klar joined UMHB in August 2026. He worked as a graduate assistant strength coach with the University of Texas at Tyler from 2025-26. Matt was also an intern with UTSA Olympic Strength in the summer of 2026 and worked with Texas State Football in the summer of 2026.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Biology in 2023 from Our Lady of the Lake University and is currently working on a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology-Human Performance. Matt was a member of the OLLU baseball team from 2018-2022, helping the program to a conference championship in 2021. Matt was also a first-team all-conference selection and four-time first-team all-conference scholar-athlete.
