Rob Frost

Rob Frost has guided the UMHB volleyball program to new heights during his tenure. Frost has compiled a record of 192-66 in his eight seasons with UMHB and guided the Cru to American Southwest Conference Championships in 2014 and 2018. UMHB has set new school NCAA Division III era records for single-season victories in four of his eight seasons on campus, topped by a 29-8 record during the 2013 campaign. The Cru has qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championship three times under Frost's leadership and UMHB advanced to a program-best Regional Final in 2018. UMHB finished with a 28-5 record in 2018 as Frost again earned ASC West Division Coach of the Year honors. Frost has coached 45 ASC All-Conference selections and 46 Academic All-Conference picks during his tenure with UMHB.

Frost came to UMHB from Bowling Green State University, where he served as an assistant coach for the Falcons volleyball team for four seasons. Frost helped lead Bowling Green to a 67-63 record, a pair of 20+ win seasons and three Mid-American Conference Tournament appearances in his four years with the Falcons. Frost spent the 2006 season as the head volleyball coach at Belhaven College prior to joining the Bowling Green coaching staff. Frost led Belhaven to a 25-11 record and a Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament title in his one season with Blazers. Frost has also served as an assistant coach at Cleveland State University, Taylor University and Moody Bible Institute. Cleveland State posted a 34-23 record during Frost’s two seasons on campus, Taylor went 33-15 in his one season and Moody Bible Institute posted a 27-11 mark and won the NCCAA Division II Midwest Region Championship during his tenure.

Frost is a 1999 graduate of Moody Bible Institute, earning a degree in Education and Youth Ministry. He completed his Master's Degree in Sports Management at Cleveland State University in 2005. Frost and his wife, Rebecca, were married in the summer of 2016.
