Cru women's soccer opens play at ASC Tournament today

Abilene, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team will open play at the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament later this morning. The Cru is 11-5-0 overall and 10-3-0 in ASC play and the UMHB women set a new school single-season record for overall victories and conference wins. The Cru is the #4 seed in the tournament and will face #5 seed East Texas Baptist University (10-6-0, 9-3-0 ASC) in today's first round at 11:00 AM. The winner of that game will advance to tomorrow's semifinals to face tournament host and #1 seed Hardin-Simmons University (16-1-0, 12-0-0 ASC) in an 11:00 AM match. UMHB beat East Texas Baptist University 3-0 in the regular season meeting between these two teams back in September in Belton.
