San Antonio, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team could not find an answer for the Trinity University defense and the Cru dropped a 6-0 decision to the 15th-ranked Tigers Monday night in San Antonio. The UMHB women fall to 3-5-1 on the season with the loss. Trinity improves to 8-1 on the season with the victory.
            Lindsay Euers would give Trinity a 1-0 lead when she scored off an assist from Danika Wright 15:54 into the match. The Tigers stretched the lead to 2-0 when Kelly Watts scored in the 27th minute. It would stay that way into the second half before Trinity added a goal 1:55 into the second to make it 3-0. The Tigers would then add three goals in the final 15 minutes to put the match out of reach.

            Meredith West posted 13 saves in goal for UMHB. Katie Garrett had two saves in goal for Trinity. The Tigers outshot the Cru 39-2 in the match.

            The Cru women will now return home to host a pair of American Southwest Conference matches this weekend. UMHB will play host to Louisiana College for a 1:00 PM start on Friday before closing out the weekend with a 1:00 PM match against Mississippi College on Saturday.
