Men's Soccer falls to Centenary 1-0

Shreveport, LA- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer lost to Centenary College 1-0 Friday afternoon in Shreveport, LA. The loss drops the UMHB men to 9-4-1 overall while Centenary improves to 10-3-1.
 
Centenary took a 1-0 lead when Marcos Rodriguez scored at the 4:32 mark. The goal was assisted by Ryan Christianson. Marcos Rodriguez and Spencer Nickerson both had two shots for Centenary.  Goal keeper Robbie Ramirez posted the shutout for the Gents.
 
Chris Torres, Kyle Dickey, Tyler Wicks and Nathaniel Fagnant all had two shots for the Cru. Both teams had 14 total shots. Goal keeper Adam Cecil had four saves while Brandon Stegmeyer contributed two for the Cru defense.Centenary goal keeper Robbie Ramirez had seven total saves. The Cru will be back in action with a 3:00 PM kickoff time against Schreiner University in Kerrville.
