Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team roared through doubles and the made it stand up in singles as the Cru rolled to an 8-1 victory over McMurry University Friday afternoon in Belton. The UMHB women improve to 9-5 overall and 4-0 in American Southwest Conference West Division play with the victory. The Cru women also clinched a berth in the ASC Championship Tournament with the win. The loss drops McMurry to 3-12 overall and 0-2 in the ASC West Division on the spring. The UMHB women will return to action with an 11:00 AM match at Howard Payne University tomorrow in Brownwood. The Cru women can clinch the ASC West Division title and the right to host the ASC Tournament with a win over the Yellow Jackets and a win over Hardin-Simmons University on April 16^th.
