Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Brownwood, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Howard Payne University Saturday morning in Brownwood to stay unbeaten in American Southwest Conference play. The Cru is now 10-5 overall and 5-0 in ASC West Division play on the season and UMHB remains in a tie for first place in the ASC West with Hardin-Simmons University. The loss drops the Yellow Jackets to 3-9 overall and 2-3 in the ASC West on the spring. The Cru women will return to action with a non-conference dual match at Southwestern University next Friday. UMHB will then host Hardin-Simmons for a 2:00 PM dual match at the Yvonne Li Tennis Center next Saturday. The winner of that match will claim the ASC West Division title and will earn the right to host the ASC Championship Tournament April 29^th through May 2^nd.
