Women's soccer falls to Trinity University 7-0

San Antonio, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer fell to Trinity 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio. The loss drops UMHB women to 1-6-1 overall and 1-4 in American Southwest Conference play. Trinity improves to 9-0 overall.
 
Trinity would take a 1-0 lead when Mariah Risk scored off an assist from Allyson Hunter at the 7:10 mark of the first half. The Cru defense held Trinity to just one goal during the first half of play. Abigail Loar took a total of five shots while Stephanie Segovia and Shelby Guenthardt both contributed four. Trinity took a total of 29 shots compared to the UMHB women's two. Hannah Kuhl scored at the 55:53 mark and was assisted by Shelby Guenthardt. Trinity would take a 4-0 lead when Abigail Loar scored off an assist from Lauren Krummel. Stephanie Segovia scored the next two goals. Abigail Loar scored her second goal of the game at the 75:04 mark to complete the scoring for Trinity.
 
Allison Bullock and Tori Seiler fired the only two shots for the Cru. Goal keeper Erica Harris had two saves while Meredith West contributed seven. The Cru women will be back in action Friday, September 30th to take on University of Ozarks. There is a 1:00 PM kickoff time in Belton.
