Round Rock, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 2-0 win over Concordia Thursday night in Round Rock. The win improved the Cru to 5-9-2 on the season while the Tornados fall to 2-10-2.
Jonathan Hernandez took two shots for the Cru and scored both goals for UMHB, one unassisted in 30
th minute of play and another from
McKenna Cook in the 79
th minute. UMHB totaled nine shots compared to the Tornado's seven with Hernandez and seven other athletes recording shots.
Esteban Briseno earned the win in the net for UMHB, allowing now goals and saving two. The Cru took seven corner kick in the match.
The Cru ends the regular season at 3-5-2 in American Southwest Conference play.
