Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team will tip off its fourth straight straight NCAA Division III National Championships appearance with a 7:00 PM tip-off against American Southwest Conference rival Concordia Texas Saturday evening at the Mayborn Campus Center. The game is a Second Round contest and the winner of that game will advance to take on either Emory University or Whitworth University in a Sectional Round game on Saturday, March 16
th. The Cru is hosting an NCAA Tournament game for the fourth straight year.
The Cru is 23-5 on the season and advances to the NCAA postseason as an at-large team. UMHB had a First Round bye and has not played a game in 13 days. Concordia won the ASC Championship and claimed the league's automatic bid to the postseason. The Tornados are 24-5 on the year and moved into the Second Round with an 87-83 victory at Trinity University in the opening round. The Cru is in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the last seven seasons. Concordia is making its first NCAA appearance. The two teams will be meeting for the fourth time this season in Saturday's game. UMHB won both regular season meetings, 98-95 in Belton and 94-81 in Austin. Concordia edged the Cru 80-76 in the ASC Championship Game in Richardson on February 24

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. There will be no presale of tickets, but the ticket windows will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday at the Mayborn Campus Center. There are no complimentary admissions to NCAA postseason events.
