Football playoff game suspended until Sunday

Belton, Texas – After three lightning delays and nine and a half hours, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team's NCAA Division III National Championships First Round Game against Texas Lutheran University has been suspended until Sunday, November 23rd. The Cru and Bulldogs will pick up the game at 11:30 AM at Crusader Stadium from the point of the last stoppage. UMHB leads Texas Lutheran 14-10 with 8:40 remaining in the second quarter. The Bulldogs will have the ball first and ten from the Cru 28-yard line when play resumes.
 
The gates at Crusader Stadium will open at 10:00 AM on Sunday and there will be no charge for admission to the game. The game will be broadcast on KLTD-FM with the pre-game show starting at 11:00 AM. UMHB will also provide live video streaming and live statistics for the game with all of those links available on the Cru Athletic Department Web Site at www.cruathletics.com. The winner of Sunday's game will advance to face Linfield College in the Second Round. The Wildcats advanced with a 55-24 victory over Chapman in the opening round on Sunday.
