Women's Soccer drops 2-0 decision to Hardin-Simmons

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team dropped a non-conference 2-0 decision to Hardin-Simmons Friday afternoon in Abilene. The loss drops the Cru to 2-2 while the Cowgirls improve to 3-1.
 
Hardin-Simmons' Julianne Kucera was the lone scorer of the contest, netting one goal in the 27th minute and another in the 47th off a penalty kick. UMHB totaled seven shots, led by Cameron Shivers with four. Courtney Craig took the loss for UMHB, making one save and allowing two goals on nine shots. Hardin-Simmons took 11 corner kicks in the match while UMHB totaled two.
 
UMHB returns to action tomorrow in a 2 p.m. match against Austin College at the Cru Sports Plex in Belton.
