Box Score 2 Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team dropped a decision to nationally-ranked Trinity University before bouncing back to top LeTourneau University on the opening day of the spring schedule. The Cru lost a 7-2 decision to Trinity before beating LeTourneau by that same 7-2 score. UMHB is now 1-1 on the spring. Trinity University is 3-3 on the year while LeTourneau drops to 0-2.
Hannah Warren highlighted the loss to Trinity with a 7-6, 6-4 win at #1 singles. Warren topped Liz Southwick, the #5 rnked singles player in the West Region in NCAA Division III.
The Cru women will now return to action with a pair of non-conference matches next Saturday in Georgetown. UMHB will face University of the Southwest and Southwestern University that day.
