Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team swept through singles and took advantage of a depleted Sul Ross State line-up as the Cru rolled to an 8-1 victory over the Lobos Wednesday afternoon in Belton. UMHB improves to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in American Southwest Conference West Division play with the victory. The win also clinches a berth in the ASC Tournament for the Cru women. The loss drops Sul Ross State to 1-12 overall and 0-3 in ASC West Division play on the season.
The UMHB women will close out the regular season with two home dual matches this weekend. The Cru will host Hardin-Simmons in the ASC finale at 1:00 PM on Friday. UMHB will then take on McMurry University in a 10:00 AM start on Saturday.
