Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Box Score Brownwood, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team led after doubles and then took control of the match in singles play as the Cru cruised to a 7-2 win over Howard Payne University Friday morning in Brownwood. UMHB improves to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in American Southwest Conference play with the victory. The loss drops the Yellow Jackets to 2-11 overall and 0-2 in the ASC on the season.
 
The UMHB women will return to action with a non-conference match at Austin College next Friday in Sherman. The Cru will return then home to host Sul Ross State for an 11:00 AM start next Saturday at the Yvonne Li Tennis Center.
