Box Score Alpine, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team led after doubles and the dominated singles in a 7-2 victory over Sul Ross State Saturday in Alpine. The Cru improves to 4-8 overall and 3-1 in American Southwest Conference play and clinches a berth in the ASC Tournament with the victory.
UMHB led 2-1 after doubles wins from
Sarah Sedory and
Ashlee Montgomery at #2 and
Hope Nash and
Tara Pergande at #3. Those four players also added singles wins and
Haley Hicks won at #4 for the Cru.
The Cru women will close out the regular season with a pair of matches in Abilene next weekend. That road trip opens with a 2:00 PM match at McMurry on Friday.
