Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team fought back in singles, but could not come all the way back in a 7-2 loss to Schreiner University Friday in Belton. The Cru picked up three-set wins from
Ashlee Montgomery at #1 singles and from
Hope Nash at #2 singles on the day.
The loss drops UMHB to 0-6 on the spring. The Mountaineers improve to 7-8 with the victory. The Cru women return to action with the start of American Southwest Conference West Division play on Saturday. UMHB will host Sul Ross State for a 10:00 AM start at the Yvonne Li Tennis Center.
