ABILENE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team picked up a win at #1 doubles, but the Cru could not add to it in an 8-1 loss to McMurry Friday in Abilene.
Ashlee Montgomery and
Payton Burk paired for an 8-5 victory at #1 doubles to give UMHB its only point of the match.
The Cru drops to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in American Southwest Conference West Division play with the loss. McMurry improves to 10-7 overall and 4-1 in the ASC West with the victory. The UMHB women will close out the season with an 11 am match at Hardin-Simmons University Saturday in Abilene.
