ABILENE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team closed out play at the American Southwest Conference Individual Tournament Saturday in Abilene.
Shannon Kelly fell 6-1, 6-1 in her final match in flight "A" singles.
Alondra Torres Diaz fell in the fifth-place match in flight "B" singles 6-1, 6-2.
Emyleigh Johnson lost her final round match in flight "C" 6-2, 6-1.
Jessica Moore dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the final round of flight "D" singles and
Laurel Turco lost 6-2, 6-3 in flight "E".
Kelly and Johnson lost in flight "A" doubles 8-3. Turco and Moore closed out flight "B" doubles with an 8-1 loss. Torres Diaz and
Alexandra Kyser won their final match in flight "C" doubles by an 8-3 margin.
The Cru women will return to action with the ITA Southwest Regional Tournament. That event will be played September 20-23 in San Antonio.
