Reginald Cole has been selected in the XFL's draft today (October 16
th). Cole was selected by the DC Defenders in the sixth round of the defensive back phase of the XFL draft.
Cole was a four-year letterman for the Cru from Dobie High School. He started his career as a wide receiver before making the move to cornerback. Cole earned All-American honors from the Associated Press and D3football.com following his senior season in 2018. Cole recorded 35 total tackles and six tackles for loss last season. He intercepted two passes and had an interception return and a fumble return for a score. Cole finished his Cru career with 91 total tackles. He also earned All-Region and ASC All-Conference honors during his career and was a three-time ASC All-Academic honoree.
