BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team dropped its spring opener, falling to Schreiner University 8-1 Saturday in Belton. UMHB is now 0-1 on the spring while the Mountaineers improve to 3-0 with the victory.
 
Alondra Torrez-Diaz gave UMHB its only point with a three-set victory at #4 singles. The Cru women return to action with a pm home match against Texas Lutheran next Saturday.
