CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team stretched its win streak to four straight matches with a 6-3 victory at the University of the Ozarks Thursday in Arkansas. The Cru improves to 4-1 with the win while the loss drops the Eagles to 3-7 on the spring.
UMHB led 2-1 after doubles with
Cole Weiss and
Jace Mahan teaming for a win at #2 doubles and
Alex Mackellar and
Brian Martin taking #3 doubles. The Cru picked up straight set singles wins from Weiss at #3, Mahan at #4, Mackellar at #5 and
Jake Boles at #6 to clinch the victory.
The UMHB men will close out the Spring Break trip with one more dual match at Austin College. The Cru and Kangaroos will face off at noon on Saturday in Sherman.
