DENISON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team trailed after doubles and a rally at the bottom of the singles draw fell short as the Cru dropped a 7-2 decision to Austin College Saturday in Denison.
Jace Mahan won at #5 singles and
Alex Mackellar took #6 singles to give UMHB its two victories. The loss snap the Cru's four-match winning streak and drops the team to 4-2 on the spring. The Kangaroos improve to 3-5 with the victory.
The Cru will return to action with the start of American Southwest Conference West Division play on March 29
th. UMHB will take on Howard Payne in an 11 am dual match in Brownwood that day.
