Women's Tennis closes out play at ITA Southwest Regional

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team closed out the ITA Southwest Regional Tournament with several matches on Saturday.
 
In flight "C" consolation singles, the Cru's Laurel Turco advanced to the finals with a three-set win over Karen Morris of Hendrix College. She would fall to Texas Lutheran's Kaitlyn Enloe 6-3, 6-1 in the championship match.
 
In flight "D" consolation singles, UMHB's Macie Dehnisch advanced to the finals with a three-set victory over Zaylie Sanchez of Howard Payne University. Sydney Andersen advanced to the finals with a three-set win over Kyleigh Moore. Andersen then topped her teammate Dehnisch 6-2, 6-4 to win the consolation title.
 
The tournament was played at multiple sites around Abilene and was hosted by Hardin-Simmons University. The tournament also closes out the fall schedule for the UMHB women.
