BELTON, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team fell to Stephen F. Austin State University 76-63 in a hard-fought exhibition match Thursday night in Nacogdoches.

The Cru started the first half with a six-point run and held the lead through the first six minutes of action. The Lumberjacks fought back and ran with the lead in a 13-point run, ending the first half up 44-22.

UMHB came back fighting and even outscored the Lumberjacks 41-32 in the second half, but those efforts fell just short as the Jacks took the 76-63 victory.

Ty Prince led the Cru 16 points and three blocks in the contest. Josiah Johnson led UMHB with four steals and added ten points to the team total. Prince and Brooks each added five rebounds for the Cru.

UMHB returns to action on Saturday, November 13th in a 7:00 p.m. exhibition game against UT Arlington in Arlington.
