ABILENE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team closed out the season with a 5-0 loss to UT Dallas in the Quarterfinals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Thursday in Abilene. UTD swept through the doubles matches to grab a 3-0 lead. The Comets would then add victories at #6 and #4 singles to end the match. UTD was also leading the other single matches when the contest was decided. The Cru was making its first ASC Tournament appearance since 2016.
 
The loss closes out UMHB's season at 6-6. The Comets improve to 10-3 on the season with the victory and advance to Friday's Semifinals.
