Men’s Soccer to host NCAA Regional

BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's soccer team won the 2022 American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Championship and league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Tournament. The Cru also earned the right to host the first and second rounds of that tournament this weekend in Belton.  
 
UMHB went 13-2-2 this season, winning the ASC regular-season title and the program's third men's soccer championship. The Cru will host the first and second rounds in a three-game pod November 12th – 13th.
 
University of St. Thomas (Houston) and Chapman University will open play on Saturday, November 12th at 5 p.m. The Cru will face Pacific Lutheran directly after that at 7:30 p.m. Winners of those contests will advance to the second round in a 7 p.m. match on Sunday, November 13th. All three games will be played at the UMHB Soccer Fields in Belton.
 
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, $5 for students and free for children three and under. UMHB students will receive free admission with their student ID.
