Women’s Soccer heads to NCAA First Round

BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team won the 2022 American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer Championship and league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. The Cru will travel to Trinity University for the NCAA First Round.
 
UMHB went 17-0-1 this season, winning the ASC regular-season title and the program's first women's soccer championship. The Cru beat Hardin-Simmons in a 1-0 thriller in Belton to break a 19-year championship streak from the Cowgirls.
 
Trinity University and Pomona-Pitzer will open the pod with a 5 p.m. game on Saturday, November 12th. UMHB will face Pacific Lutheran immediately following at 7:30 p.m. The winners of those contests will advance to the Second Round in a 7 p.m. game on Sunday, November 13th.
