"I'm so excited to return to UMHB and contribute in the pursuit of another National Championship," Padron said. "Most teams are content in chasing a conference championship but that's not the case here… our tradition and mindset is to win a National Championship! My wife, Sarah and our girls, Carrington and Landrey, are eager to join the Cru family and we thank Coach Harmon for this wonderful opportunity!"
Padron will take over a UMHB offense that averaged 48 points and 215 rushing yards per game last season. The Cru went 15-0 overall last season, claiming the ASC title and the Division III National Championship .
Going into the 2022 season UMHB will be under direction of newly named Head Coach Harmon. Padron will be the third in a trio of UMHB alumni coordinators, as
Jack Johnson was promoted to defensive coordinator and
Mark Carey moved up to special teams coordinator earlier this year.
