LONGVIEW, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's soccer team earned a 1-0 win over LeTourneau University to close out the 2024 regular season Saturday in Longview. The win improved the Cru to 12-3-2 on the season and 6-2 in American Southwest Conference action while the YellowJackets fell to 1-15-1 overall and 0-8 in league play.
Jayme Dowell scored the go-ahead goal for the Cru in the 43
rd minute, finding the lower left section of the net off a pass from
Eden Fuentes. UMHB outshot the Tigers 17-0 in the first half, putting nine shots on frame.
UMHB again outshot the YellowJackets 4-3 in the second half as the 1-0 score held through regulation.
Natalie Mason led the Cru with six shots while
Trinity Hoffmann added five. Mason and Hoffmann each put four shots on frame while Dowell added one. The Cru defense limited LeTourneau to just three total shots in the contest and only one on frame.

Emma Edwards split time in the net with Edwards making the lone save for the Cru.
