BELTON, Texas - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor senior
Ashley Faux has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, released Tuesday.

Faux, a senior physical therapy major from Frisco, holds a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. She started in all 28 games for the Cru this season, scoring 202 points for a 7.2 points per game average. Faux added 178 rebounds, averaging 6.4 boards per contest. She also recorded 38 assists, 25 blocks and 50 steals on the year.

This is Faux's second CSC Academic All-District award. UMHB went 21-7 this season and made an appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
