BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor senior Da'Marion Morris has been named American Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 19th. He was also awarded D3football Team of the Week.
Morris, a senior from Orange, was a key contributor to the Cru's defense on Saturday, totaling 12 tackles in a win against No. 19 Texas Wesleyan (NAIA). He had seven solo takedowns with five assisted tackles, adding 1.5 tackles for loss.
Morris and the Cru return to action on Saturday, October 25th in a 1 p.m. contest against Howard Payne University at Crusader Stadium in Belton.
