BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore
Jolin Ha has been named American Southwest Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending April 21
st.
Ha, a sophomore from Sugar Land, earned a pair of wins against Hardin-Simmons. She earned a 6-1 win at No. 1 Doubles with partner
Bailee Lane before clinching the win with a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles. Ha's win also secured the regular-season title for the Cru and right to host the 2025 championship. She was also one of just two athletes to earn singles wins against UC Santa Cruz on Friday, going 3-1 on the week.
UMHB returns to action on Friday, May 2
nd in the ASC Championship Tournament at Yvonne Li Tennis Center in Belton. The tournament opens with a 2 p.m. match on Thursday, May 1
st, followed by two semifinals on Friday, May 2
nd and a 1 p.m. championship on Saturday, May 3
rd.
