BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team fought a hard battle against East Texas Baptist University, finishing as runners up in the 2025 American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament.
East Texas Baptist jumped to an early lead with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. UMHB evened the match with a win at No. 3 singles before the Tigers took No. 1 singles to go back ahead.
Bailee Lane earned a win at No. 5 singles to even the contest again before the Tigers took a win at No. 6 singles to get back on top.
Jolin Ha evened the contest once again with a three-set win at No. 4 singles but ETBU outlasted the Cru at No. 2 singles, earning the championship win.
UMHB finishes the season at 10-9.
