BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team will travel to Saint Peter, Minnesota for the First Round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship Tournament.
The Cru will face University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the NCAA First Round on Friday, March 6
th. The winner of that game will face the winner of pod-host Gustavus Adolphus and Bethany Lutheran on Saturday, March 7
th.
UMHB has faced six teams in the tournament-field this season with wins over Redlands, Belhaven and Whitworth. The Cru earned the program's fourth American Southwest Conference title over the weekend, outscoring Hardin-Simmons 57-37 in the second half to win the championship. UMHB's appearance in the NCAA Tournament was in 2023 when they advanced to the NCAA Round of 16.
