Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Jenny is a three-year starter in the backcourt for the Cru and she will once again be counted on to claim a starting role for the UMHB women this season. 2009-10: Jenny started 10 games and played in 25 for the Cru. She averaged 4.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Jenny’s 57 assists and 19 steals also ranked her among the team’s leaders in those categories. She scored season-highs with 11 points against both Trinity University and East Texas Baptist. Jenny grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against U.T.-Tyler. 2008-09: Jenny was an Honorable Mention All-West Division selection. She played in all 27 games and started 26. Jenny averaged 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game and added 60 assists and 35 steals. She reached double figures in scoring nine times with a season-high 17 coming against Texas Lutheran. 2007-08: Jenny played in 26 games and started 15 for the Cru women. She averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Jenny added 45 assists and 30 steals. She posted season-highs with 12 points and eight rebounds in the ASC Tournament victory over U.T.-Tyler. High School: Jenny was an All-District basketball player at Wylie High School and she also graduated with honors. Personal: Jenny is the daughter of Julie and David Black. She was born March 10, 1988 and is majoring in exercise and sport science at UMHB.
