Biography

Landie returns after sitting out most of last season. She will look to reclaim the form that made her the Cru’s leading scorer and rebounder as a freshman and sophomore. 2009-10: Landie played in five games and started one before sitting out the rest of the season. She averaged 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds and added eight assist, two steals and four blocked shots. Landie scored 10 points against Trinity University and grabbed nine rebounds against Southwestern University. 2008-09: Landie was a First Team All-West Division selection and also earned Academic All-ASC honors. She played in 26 games and started 22. Landie led the Cru in scoring and rebounding at 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She also blocked a team-best 45 shots and added 34 assists and 34 steals. Landie reached double figures in scoring 20 times and posted three double-doubles. She scored a season-high 23 points against HSU and grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds against Louisiana College.2007-08: Landie was an All-Conference and First Team All-West Division selection. She played in all 27 games and started 23. Landie led the Cru in scoring at 15.8 points per game and also grabbed a team-best 8.4 rebounds a contest. She blocked a team-best 32 shots, added 25 assists and 30 steals. Landie posted eight double-doubles and scored season-highs with 26 points against both HSU and Schreiner. She grabbed a season-best 21 rebounds against McMurry. High School: Landie was an All-District and Academic All-District basketball player at Lake Travis High School. She also won District Defensive MVP honors Personal: Landie is the daughter of Karen Thompson. She was born February 24, 1989 and is majoring in mathematics at UMHB.
