2023: Academic All-ASC …  Played in all 10 games … averaged 46.3 yards over nine punts with a 71-yard long … forced five fair catches with four punts inside the 20 and two punts 50+ yards … added five point-after attempts.

Edwin is studying business at UMHB. He played football and soccer at The Colony High School. Edwin was a two-time Special Teams Player of the Year and a two-time first team all-district selection at kicker. Edwin also earned District Defensive Player of the Year. He was a two-time all-district selection as well. Edwin is the son of Jose and Marisa Lopez.
