2013: First Team All-ASC selection … led the team in kills (369) and total attacks (1218) … ranked second on the team in digs (439) … added 57 blocks and 19 aces … ASC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 4) 2012: Honorable Mention All-ASC … played in all 30 matches … ranked second on the team in kills (237) and aces (18) … added 268 digs.

Lauren is an art student at UMHB. She was an all-academic volleyball player at The Woodlands High School, where she earned MVP her freshman year. Lauren was also a member of the Ceramics Club and is the daughter of Steve and Lynn Powell and Lynn Ponder.
