Biography

Shelby is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB with the hopes of becoming a physical therapist. She was an all-state and academic all-state volleyball player at Hargrave High School, where she also earned all-district, all-tournament, team MVP and All-Area Hitter of the Year honors. Shelby was also a regional qualifier in the 300 hurdles, high jump and 4x400 relay. She participated in Christian Student Union, National Honor Society and served as Senior Class Treasurer. Shelby is the daughter of Mark and Katy Russell.
